Verizon is working again!

MyxerTones is once again successfully sending ringtones and wallpapers to users on Verizon (which makes us and you much happier). If you sent content over the last few days and haven’t received it, you can resend any ringtones or wallpapers from your recent ringtones and wallpapers page. If you are still having difficulty, please let us know.

    please help!!! i have verizon and i set my account to send as attatchment. but when i get the text message it keeps telling me t go to vzwpix.com

    is there any way to prevent the new verizon ringtones from being sent as qcps for the razors? they don’t seem to be working as ringtones.

    Anonymous – if you’re receiving the message at vzwpix.com it probably means you either don’t have pix messaging on your phone or that the ringtone is too big. You can shorten the ringtone and resend it to your phone by selecting it from the “My recent ringtones and wallpapers” section at the bottom of your MyxerTones home page.

    Ryan – it depends, what carrier are you on? If you send in a feedback form we can look into the details of your account.

    ok this is by far the best ringtone site ive ever been on… most ringtone sites give u anime sh** but this place is good… i like the fact that u can get em 4 free. good site ***** 5 stars way 2 go

    wow!!! im frustrated. when i first made an account i was able to send and recieve the ringtones no problem! now they wont goto my phone…. i see you guys fixed the verizon thing but mine isnt working! what should i do?

    It could be a few different things, if you’re having a specific problem sending in a feedback form is the best thing so we can look at the logs for your account and see if anything has changed. However, there are some things you can check yourself:
    - that your carrier is still set correctly
    - that your ringtone format is set to auto (unless you specifically know that a different format is needed for your phone)
    - that the ringtone you’re trying to download isn’t too long (20 seconds is good for most phones)
    - that your phone still has space available to store ringtones

    If the problem is that you haven’t received the text message to download a something, you can do that directly from your phone without the download message. Just browse to our mobile web site from your phone (http://mxr.cc) and login using your complete phone number (with area code) and PIN. You can set your PIN by clicking on Change Pin on the My Account page. Once you’ve logged in from your phone, select Recent MyxerTones to download the ringtones or wallpapers to your phone.

    verizon is really craking down on the free ringtones and free media for their phones…they are losing $$ b/c of sites like this but hey i love this site and i am going to continue to make my own tones n upload them from this site…also they are giving you a choice of haveing the getitnow/web updated so u can use it or having you can continue to get ringtones and media for free wit no web access or receiving pix messages…damn its all about the $$$$$$$$

    i still cant receive ringtones on my Verizon Chocolate phone… i have before but all the sudden i cant.. checked with my carrier and my pix messasges and everything still works and is activated.. whats up with the tones??

    Hi Jon, it should be working fine. For one of the ringtones that isn’t working, try shortening it and see if that works. If not, send us a feedback form so we can look at the logs for your account and see if anything has changed.

    ok i have a question. because every ringtone i download from here it goes to my sounds instead of my ringtones. so im just wondering how do you get it because im new to verizon

    I have a Palm 700… The tones are coming to my MMS box and I am able to save them. My problem is that when I mash play I’m not getting any sound. Any ideas?

    Myxer is working fine on all of our supported carriers. If you’re having any trouble downloading a ringtone or wallpaper, send us a note so we can get you up and going.

    I have used your website to send my phone at least a good 10 ringtones last week and they worked perfectly! However, as of lately. I tried again to take a few other mp3 files that I have, and select portions to send to my phone, and the result is that, even when I FORCE it to be mp3, it comes in as qcp.

    Why is this? Is this a bug in your software being unable to send mp3 now? Or is this due to Verizon cracking down?

    I have a verizon phone and it is on your list for when you select your phone options, and I have been sending the ringtones to my sound, but after that I cant get them to set as a ringtone. My phone is the LGvx5200. I was wondering what is wrong?

    Hi, things are working great here at MyxerTones. As to whether or not the messages are free on Verizon, it depends on your plan. To most Verizon phones we send the ringtones and wallpapers as PIX messages – so if your plan includes free PIX messaging, there won’t be an additional charge for the ringtones.

    Unfortunately, we can’t support the LG VX5200, here’s some more info from our FAQs.

    when i send my ringtone to my phone it says to go to vzwpix.com but when i resend my ringtone in a smaller version it still says to go to the site and theres no way to send it from the site to ur phone, wat should i do?

    seriosuly this new thing with verizon that they dont send the mp3 files anymore is so annoying! i used to be able to use this site get great ringtones and now they come out like i jsut recorded something off the radio this sux. There was to be a way to prevent the ringtones from coming like that!

    i get the ringtone on my phone from a picture message and save the sound. But when i go to set it as my ringtone the file is not there. It is saved under “My Sounds” and I cant get that as my ringtone.

    You have the latest firmware update applied. Verizon turned off this work-around at that point.

    Is it possible to change this new firmware? Or are we basically screwed in recieving ringtones from Myxer anymore?
