Introducing MyxerMagic – send any image from the web to your phone!

We’re really excited to finally unveil MyxerMagic web extensions! MyxerMagic is a really cool new feature that leverages the MyxerTones website to add a send to my phone option to your web browser. For all of those wallpaper addicts out there (you know who you are!), this is going to really open up a whole new set of possibilities.

Let’s say you like puppies. I mean, you really like puppies. So you want to set your phone’s wallpaper to this Jack Russell photo you found on your favorite puppy website. (Work with me here, people. It’s hard to find examples that speak to everybody.) Anyway, this is what life was like before:

You:

“Gee, I really wish I could use that puppy picture for my phone’s wallpaper.”

Rest of the World:

[ignores you, choosing instead to continue old habit of coming up with new ways to blow up people and things more effectively.]

But now, thanks to MyxerMagic and your friends at Myxer (who like to spend their time building cool things rather than blowing them up), life just got better:

You:

“Gee, I really wish I could use that puppy picture for my phone’s wallpaper.”

MyxerTones:

Go for it!

.

So there you have it! We’ve got MyxerMagic working with both Firefox (1.5 and 2.0) and Internet Exploiter (6 and 7), so go install it and start sending those puppies to your phone!
