A Milestone: 10 Million iPhone Ringtones Delivered!

Yesterday, we announced a milestone achievement of having delivered over 10 million free ringtones to iPhone users. To that end, we’ve launched a new podcast that delivers some of the most popular and most downloaded content from our catalog of over one million ringtones. The podcast, will allow iPhone users to sync mobile content directly from their iTunes.

Subscribing to Myxer’s “Free Hip Hop Ringtones” podcast (currently ranked #2 in Technology category as well as #1 in Gadgets) in iTunes allows you to receive new Myxer ringtones every time you sync. Two new ringtones are added each week, and we’ll soon unveil a wide variety of genre-specific podcasts, so all music fans, no matter what your musical taste, will have something to enjoy.

“Myxer’s podcast represents a unique and streamlined way to deliver mobile content to users– by doing something many of us are already doing as part and parcel of our daily routine, syncing our devices– we’ve managed to cut out that extra step and make it incredibly simple for our users to access great new content as soon as it becomes available,” said Myk Willis, CEO of Myxer. “In the process, we’ve also found a fantastic new way to empower independent artists, who can use this podcast as an avenue to get in front of a massive audience of music-hungry fans interested in finding the best new music from a vast array of styles.”

To subscribe to Myxer’s “Free Hip Hop Ringtones” and other podcasts, iTunes users may visit: http://bit.ly/myxerpodcast. There, you will find a “how to” video instruction, which will quickly walk you through the process of downloading and playing your new ringtones.
