Detroit’s native son—and Rock & Roll legend— Bob Seger makes his entree into the digital realm, making his music (as ringtones) available for download, digitally, for the first time!
Myxer.com has partnered with EMI and Cornerstone Marketing to introduce 16 bonafide Seger classics, including the incredible “Katmandu” as an exclusive “free” ringtone from December 14th until January 10th.
Myxer, in conjunction with the good folks at the Miami Music Festival, is proud to present ‘MMF2010: Live Hip Hop Showcase & Mixtape‘ (click here to download the mix in its entirety).
Headlined by Miami’s own, ¡MAYDAY!, and a slew of insanely talented, up-and-coming artists takin’ to the stage, the showcase happens tomorrow, 11/13/2010, at SobeLive in Miami Beach— as part of the 2010 Miami Music Festival!
Sponsored by Myxer and Crazy Hood Production in association with Lastrights, the305.com, Mupalia Pictures, Latchkey Recordings, La Rue Management, and Hood DJ’s, this event promises to be a blast! And, of course, some of the Myxer crew will definitely be in attendance! If you’re heading out, feel free to stop on by and chat ‘em up— just look for the Myxer shirts!
And do not forget, in addition to the mixtape, we’ve got the MP3′s and the ringtones, too. You didn’t think we’d leave you hanging, now, did ya? Of course not!

Today’s F.T.T. treat comes from the Pacific Northwest, the city of Portland in particular. Moxie Black is a duo consisting of rapper iLLA and producer Dekk.
Self-described as “New-wave, indie, electro infused hip-hop,” the duo’s tunes are magnanimous, ridiculously catchy, and would most certainly feel right at home in Pharell’s headphones whilst grooving to Passion Pit at a house party for Lil’ Wayne. Did we say that? Yes, we said that.
“Multifaceted mogul, Talia Coles, embodies the word “couture”; merging high impact, genre-breaking music with stunning elements of fashion and dance. Talia is the premiere artist from her aptly named music-based content company Couture Music, where she is Founder and Co-President, along with recording industry maven (and Kevin Liles protégé) JoJo Brim.
Talia Coles draws from her culturally dynamic African-American and Puerto Rican upbringing in Harlem, New York. Her musician father also played with James Brown and Wilson Pickett. Talia immersed herself in voice, dance, and theater, and she graduated from New York’s iconic LaGuardia High School of Music and the Performing Arts with a diploma in Music History and Voice. She added Ballet and Jazz studies at Broadway Dance Theatre, enhancing her natural acumen for Hip-Hop.
Top level producers and artists call upon Talia’s boutique songwriting approach, and she has lent her talents to LL Cool J, Musiq Soulchild, Teddy Riley, Slim from 112, Tyler Perry, Deborah Cox, Case, Coko, Irv Gotti, and Polish superstar Tatiana Okpuknik. Iconic booking agency ICM recently brought Talia to their roster!”
